Social Work

The Social Work course can now be attended on a full-time basis at the higher vocational school in Olomouc, which we are newly establishing. Starting from the 2020/2021 academic year, the course will be prepared for you as a part-time study as well. The graduates receive the DiS degree (associate degree).

The Social Work course prepares its students especially for the statutorily regulated profession of social worker. It is the only type of study at higher vocational school that provides professional qualification to exercise the profession under the Social Service Act. The qualification requirements laid down by the Social Service Act apply to social workers performing activities in social services, material need assistance, social and legal protection of children, at schools, educational establishments, prisons and shelter facilities.
